Role Overview:
Trellix is looking for passionate and driven individuals to join as Associate SDETs (Software Development Engineers in Test) for their ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) product line. This team plays an important role in making sure the product is in good quality before it goes to the customers. In your role as an SDET in the company, you’ll be working on different kinds of testing — from manual testing to creating automation scripts, checking performance, security, and overall system function of the product.
As an Associate SDET you will get a chance to work with latest technologies and help in building trusted and safe software. This role is great for someone who likes solving problems, making software better, and working with teams to build and test the product.

About the Role:
Trellix hiring for the Associate SDET role and is looking for candidates who are dedicated, knowledgeable, and eager to contribute to high-quality software delivery. Below mentioned are the key expectations the company has from candidates applying for this role:
- Execute new feature and regression cases manually as necessary for product releases.
- Identify and communicate critical issues effectively and promptly.
- Proficiency with bug tracking platforms (JIRA is beneficial). Effective defect reporting, including comprehensive details to minimize iterative communication and facilitate prompt resolution, is an essential attribute for this position in trellix.
- Working on test cases, prioritizing those with high return on investment over low-impact areas to enhance testing efficiency.
- Hands-on experience with automation programming languages (Java is add-on plus).
- Execute, monitor, and debug automation runs.
- Develop automation code utilizing the PlayWright automation framework for detailed coverage
- Determined to explore and expand understanding of Cloud/On-prem infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience for the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate high security requirements into systems and processes.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
Education Requirements
