MWCD Internship 2024: The MWCD Internship 2024 was recently announced by PM Modi, offered by the Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD) from Government of India, this internship provides an exciting opportunity for students and young professionals to work with Government real-time problems and more challenging projects in the social welfare sector across different location in India. This internship main focuses on empowering women and children through various government collaborated NGO’s and other government works.
About MWCD Internship Program 2024
The Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD) is offering internship program for students, skilled youngsters, social activists, and teachers who are connected with any educational or non-educational institution located in India. This program invites participants to work on small projects or research studies related to the ministry’s ongoing projects, Mainly focusing on the rural welfare backdrop women and children. Through this internship, participants will gain valuable experience in understanding the ministry’s work, contributing to policy analysis, and working towards to advocate for women’s and children’s rights in the future.
Scope of Activities
Through this Program, Ministry aims to develop the talent of the interns, giving them opportunity to work for improve further efficiency in implementation of schemes as also thoughtful on its policies through different areas. This Internship Program provides a common platform for meaningful interaction and patch for research related to Government programs. Interns need to contribute to policy developing or modification by giving inputs based on the current experience analysis, reporting, policy papers and briefing. This Program is expected to deliver promptness in connecting possible information gaps involves to issues and problems of women and children in the country.
This program will give interns opportunity to learn about how the Ministry works and Interns need to meet people who help run different programs and policies. They’ll also talk to other government agencies and important groups that work to help women and children in India.
Eligibility for MWCD Internship Program 2024
Participants who are interested in this MWCD Internship Program need to match below mentioned criteria:
- Participants (Women students, scholars, social activists and teachers) Should be from NON tire-01 Cities.
- Participants (Women students, scholars, social activists and teachers) Should be from Rural background.
- Participants who are willing to apply need to enrolled in/ associated with any university/academic/non-academic institution located in India.
- For this internship Government is looking interns aged between 21-40 years.
Selection Process for MWCD Internship Program 2024
As this is government internship selection process will be different compared to any other corporates selection process.
For selection process Ministry will be form a separate Selection Committee to filter and select best fit intern into this program.
Where Committee feels necessary, Ministry may also invite faculty members/subject experts from universities or reputed research institutes for the selection process.
Internship Duration
This Internship is available through year with duration of 2 months, Intern have the choice of selecting the moths they are interested to participate in this Internship Program during application submitting.
Number of Interns
For this MWCD Internship 2024 program Ministry will be selecting 20 interns per batch this number may vary with time.
Stipend for MWCD Internship 2024
Ministry will be paying Stipend for the candidates who completes 2 months of internship program
- Every intern will be provided a lump sum stipend of Rs.20,000/- per month.
- Travelling coast will be reimbursement ( Includes travelling to join internship and after completion of return back to home)
- The interns would also be awarded a certificate on successful completion of the Program on tasks such as (submission/ presentation of papers/ reports of the work done.)
- Interns will be provided hostel facility on sharing basis in Delhi.
- The hostel facility will be available from 2 days before to the start of Program upto 2 days after the end of the Program
- The interns would be provided an Internship Coordinator.
